About me
As a midwife with a passion for antenatal education and infant feeding, I founded Baby Catchers.
The name Baby Catchers is a nod to the affectionate term midwives often use to describe themselves- those who are quite literally there to ‘catch’ babies as they enter the world. But it also speaks to the deeper, more symbolic role midwives play: catching, holding and supporting parents as they grow into their new roles.
Baby Catchers is here to offer the continuity that’s often missing in standard care. I currently work in a London hospital as the Clinical Infant Feeding Lead. With my background as a community caseload midwife, alongside my counselling skills and experience working within an infant feeding team, I’ve gained the skills needed to support families every step of the way.
